Week 3b- Online Questionnaire with Surveymonkey:D

Creating an online questionnaire is perhaps the most exciting part of this course. Honestly, I have never get involved with it before and it was a good experience- it was like asking people to join in the sharing of knowledge and hard work. (Creating a questionnaire was not easy indeed)

From Tengku Azlan's lecture on this questionnaire task, its features and the guidelines to it, I take it that creating a questionnaire is not easy. It should be based on certain criteria, like the following,

    1. Write a short questionnaire
    2. Use simple words
    3. Relax your grammar
    4. Assure a common understanding
    5. Start with interesting questions
    6. Don't write leading question
    7. Avoid double negatives
    8. Balance rating scales
    9. Don't make the list of choices too long
    10. Avoid difficult concepts
    11. Avoid difficult recall questions
    12. Use Closed-ended questions rather than Open-ended ones
    13. Put your questions in a logical order
    14. Pre-test your survey
    15. Naming your survey
    16. Cover memo or introduction

Following the guidelines above are an add-up value for the questionnaire created as I have to admit here that some questionnaires are really difficult and mind-testing which, by referring to my lecturer, is not a good element. I hope that our group (W. Syazwani Nasuha and I) questionnaire is not too difficult. But, if it is, let us know. Here is the link to our group questionnaire,

No matter how high or low the tide is, we sailors should equip ourselves with knowledge. There is student without teacher, but there is no teacher without teacher. Good day to you, may God bless you :D
